DAVID SYKES, VP, SALES
David Sykes is a successful business professional with demonstrated achievements in all phases of sales, business development, product marketing and management with more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Before joining Imagine, David was Vice President of Sales and Marketing Strategy for Opnext. Opnext acquired StrataLight Communications in January 2009 where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. His sales team focused on the largest OEM and Carriers worldwide growing revenues from just over $10M to well over $100M in just two years. Prior to StrataLight, he spent over 6 years at Turin Networks as Vice President of Market Development. His responsibilities included International Sales, Global Partners, Corporate Development, Product Marketing and Sales Operations. Prior to Turin, he held various leadership positions at Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Network Equipment Technologies.
