MARK DAVIS, VP SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND SUPPORT
Mark Davis is a seasoned veteran with more than 24 years of industry experience.
Previously, Mark worked at BigBand Networks where he was VP of Engineering - Network Solutions Group, responsible for the sales engineering and solutions design team that assisted customers with CMTS, VoIP, switched digital video, simulcast and other media processing solutions. Before BigBand, he was VP of Network Engineering & Construction with AT&T Broadband’s (now Comcast) Atlanta Region where he was responsible for planning and implementing AT&T’s network technology platform. At Cox Communications, Davis was VP of Engineering and Telephony Technology, playing a key role in the successful launch of commercial and residential telecommunications services. He led the cable industry in transforming a traditional coax cable network into a highly-reliable full-service network by promoting a route-diverse fiber ring architecture. He began his telecommunications career in 1983 with Contel Telephone Operations. He is a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers as well as the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.
